Yassin Al-Haj Saleh is a Syrian writer and translator. He is the author of books on Syria, prison, contemporary Islam, culture and intellectuals, sectarianism, and the atrocious. He is one of the founders and staff writers of aljumhuriya.net. He also writes in Al-Quds Al-Arabi, New Lines Magazine, and others. He currently lives in Berlin and dreams of learning about the fate of his disappeared wife Samira al-Khalil.
