Anna Ziajka Stanton is a doctoral student in modern Arabic literature at the University of Texas at Austin. Her translation of Lebanese author Hilal Chouman’s novel Limbo Beirut is forthcoming from the publishing division of UT Austin’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies in 2016.
