Daisy Atterbury is a writer, educator and Mellon Public Humanities Fellow enrolled in the doctoral program in English at The Graduate Center, CUNY. She formerly co-edited Makhzin's second issue, "Feminisms," together with Mirene Arsanios and Tarek El-Ariss. She co-directs an annual summer program in New Mexico focused on poetry, aesthetics and coloniality, founded in 2010. She received her MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College and her BA at Yale University. She teaches at Queens College, CUNY.
